How to Issue a Citation in OpsMan Mobile

Modified on Fri, 18 Nov 2022 at 03:08 PM

Overview

When a Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO) is monitoring zones in OpsMan Mobile and comes across a parker that has not paid or is otherwise in violation, they can easily issue a citation through the app.

If you have our Scofflaw feature enabled, before the officer issues the citation, the Passport app will scan our database and display any other unpaid citations associated with the parkers’ license plate. This may impact the fine amount or the type of citation issued.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the OpsMan Mobile application on your Android device.
  2. To begin issuing a ticket, select Create New Ticket from the side menu.
  3. The Enter LPN popup will appear. Enter vehicle information.
  4. On the next screen, add additional vehicle information such as color, make and model. Select the yellow arrow in the right-hand corner to continue.
  5. Select either Citation or Warning in the Type field, then fill out citation information (e.g., Space Number, Zone Number, Location or Violation Type). Select the yellow arrow in the right-hand corner to continue.
  6. Select the yellow Add Imagebutton to add images for the citation.
    • Up to 4 images can be added to the app, however, only one will print on the ticket. If not deleted, the other images can be found in the back-office system.
  7. Add note(s). See below the different types of notes:
    • Notes. Manually entered by the enforcement officer and will appear on the printed ticket.
    • Common Notes. Used for tickets that are written frequently and are already established through a drop-down menu. Common Notes will appear on the ticket once it is printed.
    • Internal Notes. Manually entered by the enforcement officer and are for internal use only.
  8. Confirm citation details and select Ok to issue the citation. The ticket will now print from the paired Bluetooth printer.
