On Sunday, December 4th, beginning at 1:00 a.m. EST, Passport will perform an upgrade to its primary database instances in both the U.S. and Canada. We are anticipating an outage of approximately 30 to 60 minutes to complete this upgrade. During this outage, most services will become inaccessible and all user and back office applications will be unable to display or process transactions.
This is a required upgrade to maintain our software at supported levels and to continue to receive the latest security and vulnerability patches. Once the upgrade is complete, you should expect to see no impact or difference in Passport’s systems. All services and applications will be available and able to process transactions as normal.
