Manage Group Permits on CMRPay

Modified on Fri, 12 Jan 2024 at 06:25 PM

Overview

Group Permit Management consists of 2 components:

  • Portal: setup
  • CMRPay: management

This document shows you how to assign and manage a permit in CMRPay.

Note: Permits must first be set up in the portal before you can assign or manage them in CMRPay. You cannot manually assign a permit number in the back office.

Note: Group permits require an administrator to be assigned. The group administrator would be responsible for:

  • maintaining and assigning all the permits in the group configuration
  • managing permits that have been assigned in a batch (or group)
  • assigning and updating the permits
  • paying for the permits
  • enabling automatic renewals after the initial purchase

Meanwhile, a permit holder (the person who uses the permit when parking):

  • cannot make changes to their information or to the permit
  • cannot interact with any permit received as part of a group, so they cannot manage, pay for, or interact with the permit in any way (including logging in and viewing the permit on CMRPay)

Note: In organizations with large numbers of internal permits, >you should encourage each organization to manage its own permit groups due to the effort required of gathering, entering, and maintaining employee information for each permit.
